I'll be the first to tell you that I was shocked by how much blogging has played a role in my everyday life. I learn things about people, get inspired to do even the littlest task and feel accomplished, and have put a lot of different things on the ongoing to-do list.

So when my roommate told me she was looking for an updo for the ball she was working for the American Heart Association, I went right to work searching for the perfect style. Tucked away in my "wedding favorites" folder (does everyone have one of these or am I just weird?) was one of my most favorite weddings. And there it was.

Isn't that gorgeous? All the ladies in the beauty salon were absolutely gushing, and it doesn't help that my roommate is freaking gorgeous either :-)

Sometimes classic and simple is the right way to go!
