Have a ____ day!!

As I was perusing around the blogs that I followed, I came across a new blog that just popped up in the blogosphere (word? mac doesn't think so...). It revolves around the lives of two girls, who for each post fill in the blank of what kind of day their having. Today was a Have a New Orleans Day!

I think this is an interesting concept in itself. The blank is ours to choose. So often as I groan and pull myself out of bed in the morning, before my feet hit the floor I think "man...this is going to be one of those days." It's like the day was already predetermined before I could even take action against it.

Now, hold up. The only one who does the predetermining is me. I am in charge of my day, how it will be, and my attitude against it. Maybe that blank doesn't always have to be a blank. Recently I have been trying to change my outlook on a lot of things in my life, making little baby steps in the right direction.

I feel like this is one of those things that I can control.

You are the kind of day that you think you will have. If that even makes any sense at all.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say to you...

"Have a magnificent day!"

Maybe it wont be so magnificent for you, maybe it will. But after all it is Friday. We all love Fridays.

You are in charge of your blank. SEIZE it, reap all of it's benefits, and at the end of the day I hope that you can look back and say that you appreciated your blank for all of its worth.
