Playing Catch Up

It's ironic how everytime that I get on my blog to think of something to write about I come up with next to nothing. If I stay off of it for even a couple of days then I find that I can't fit it all into one post. Frustrating it is...playing a huge game of catch up.

This past week I finally found time to schedule my 36 hour leave, and I was definitely more than ready to get away from Culver for a short little vacation. Gonzo and I left after our morning classes on Wednesday to the Elkhart county fair. He had never been before, which always excites me when I take people places that they have never been. With me, I could go to fairs every day and be perfectly happy, so I was more than willing to tag along on the adventure. Two and a half hours (supposed to take and hour fifteen) and a horrible rainstorm later, we found ourselves at a Dairy Queen in the middle of Amish country LOST.

We eventually made it to the fair in one piece and enjoyed the fair in the remaining hours that we had left. Loved every minute of it!!
