Big Silver Jellybeans

Whenever I go to Chicago, I usually get pulled to the magnificent mile of shops and find myself spending the entire day in and out shopping. When we decided we were going to Chicago for the second part of our 36 hour leave, I knew right then and there that shopping shouldn't be the priority. Sure a little is okay, but I wanted to be a tourist for the day. See Millennium Park, the silver jelly bean, and venture over to Navy Pier. All places that I have never been to sadly. I have lived here how many years??

Although we ran out of time to go to Navy Pier, our day was jam packed with lots of other fun things to do. We shopped, ate at Potbelly subs (delicious, highly recommended), wandered through the amphitheater in Millennium Park, and saw a whole other part of Chicago that I have never experienced before.

Who would have thought that a large jellybean would be so entertaining? We took tons of silly pictures of our reflections, and people watched.

It was nice just to be away from Culver for a little while!
