There's magic in the music

I have always been obsessed with song lyrics every since the beginning of my love affair with country music (freshman year of high school.) Laugh as you may, I LOVE country music. Call me a hick or whatnot but I love the fact that the songs lyrics tell stories and speak of real life obstacles and challenges. To me they are magical memories wrapped up in the notes, and these songs have helped me through some of the tough points in my life.

Every once in a while I come across that song that gives me goosebumps listening to it on the radio while driving in the car. To me..that makes for a good song. The Band Perry was a band that I sort of stumbled upon and their song "If I Die Young" is one of those good, heartfelt songs.

I listened to this song on my way to work this morning, it was a pick-me-up for the rest of my day!!
