Wacky Weekends

...and I mean that with the most endearment possible. As they always do, the weekend flew by in the blink of an eye and I found myself little to show for it besides my ever expanding closet. I love to shop; which is a phrase that should not be taken lightly and summer time is the time when my mother and I spend lots of quality time together doing what we do best: shop (much to my Dad's dismay..) We enjoy it, and its always thrilling to sift through racks of clothing trying to find that once perfect thing.
I made out like a bandit this weekend, with a trip to the outlet malls on Friday yielding a new swimsuit from Banana Republic and some running pants (of course) from Nike. Sales always catch my eye, and the outlet is one of my favorite places to go.
Today we ventured out to a new mall about an hour and a half from our house. Quite the hike I know, but definitely worth every mile! I hauled home a bundle of bags, making my first purchases at H&M in my LIFE. Surprising, I know, because it seems that everyone I meet/talk to has something from there. It's true...it is quite the place, wish there was one closer to home though!
One of the purchases of the weekend...who knew that rompers could be so much fun!? It's my first, and I cannot wait to wear it the next chance I get.

I had a little bit of a shock this weekend, age wise. Yes, I am beginning the downward spiral of the famous "Am I really that old?" question. I know...I am pushing the ripe old age of 21, but seeing people I grew up with graduating high school and college weirds me out. I feel like my age is beginning to show. Are there wrinkles yet?
Ali, one of my very best family friends just graduated from high school last Sunday. My old high school in fact and her graduation party brought back waves of nostalgia as I remember the days of graham crackers, pond hockey, and Disney figurines. Everyone goes through this stage in their lives I suppose, but it came a lot sooner than I expected it to. Congrats Ali, I wish you all the success imaginable!

Saw Killers this Sunday and absolutely loved it. Yes, I am a corny romance junky. Yes, the movie was way too similar to Mr and Mrs. Smith. Carbon copy in fact. But yeah...I still loved every minute and got all giggly happy when Ashton Kutcher flashed up on screen (big fan). It's a good movie and for all who haven't seen it, it's definitely one not to miss.

Now that I can finally take a breather from a weekend of shopping, movies, and graduation parties tomorrow begins the madness that is summer camp. I'm excited and nervous all at the same time...which I suppose is a good thing.
Bring it on summertime! Lovin' every minute :)
