Springtime Obsessions

With the weather finally turning the corner after what seems like the longest winter in Mississippi history. Even for the South it was dreadful, to say the least with those cold rainy overcast days sticking around LONG after they were welcome. We were all excited last night for our trip to the square to finally be able to be out and about without freezing our butts off in short dresses and heels. Usually the game plan is to go out on the square (regardless of weather, rain or shin) in whatever we may want to wear, with no coat of course, and run into the bar that we choose to go that night. Nooo more!! (I am saying this, but realizing that I may as well be jinxing myself. Oh well. Good while it lasted.)

Anyways, with the arrival of the warm weather brings daffodils, Easter, and WHITE. Yipppeeee! My mother told me since I was young that I wasn't allowed to weather anything white until after Easter Sunday which as a little girl I didn't think much of at the time. Now, as a quite bigger girl I realize that white plays a huge role in my wardrobe (obsessed with white jeans and dresses.) Sooo with the spring brings sunshine, happiness and the revival of my white jeans from the back of my closet :)

2. High Heels (like these...which I have been craving for monthes now...but of course no longer have my size. Boo for being a size 8, probably the most common size in shoe word.)

4. H&M Nail Polish (They just came out with it for the spring...as soon as a get home and make a Chicago trip I'm picking some up...and it's only $3!!)

5. Cross Canadian Ragweed...enough said. If you havn't heard them you need to. Ammmazing roll down the windows music!!
