And we were all hoping for snow...darnit. Well, I wouldn't say that we were all hoping for snow either because that certainly is not the case. Most people that I have met in the South hate the snow as much as we "Northerners" hate black ice. If you don't know what that is, you probably have never come in contact with it. And I pray that you never will.
I just took a test for Editing by Design (a journalism class I'm taking) and it was so easy I almost laughed when I took it. Seeing as the teacher gave us the questions before hand, it made studying a whole heck of alot easier!! Yipee (knock on wood) I think I aced it.
...But for the sake of jinxes, let's just say I think I did pretty good.
Mom's coming this Friday in the afternoon, SO SO excited. I havn't seen her since christmas time, so this visit has been a long time coming. I am hoping that shopping in Southhaven, Alice and Wonderland, and good food will all come with her visit but mostly I'm just excited to see her. It's tough being 11 hrs away (some have it worse than me) but I guess we all make our choices, and Mississippi was mine!
