How to Survive those Winter Blues!

How I survive the cold winter blues (that may not necessarily be so blue.)Lets be honest, the cold monthes of February are not everyone's favorite month. Besides Valentine's day the only thing to loko forward to is grey, slush, and more slush. A few things get me through those cold winter months and make the winter seem not so bad. Just because it's cold does NOT mean we have to suffer!

1. Palmers Coco Butter. You know those cracks that mysteriously appear in your skin during the long winter monthes? They hurt and your everyday regular lotion just doesn't seem to do the trick anymore. This will become your new best friend. I went through 3 TUBS this winter...yes really three. I put in on all those places that cracks seem to find appealing (in between your fingers, knees, elbows, etc.) but also can be used all over your body. I swear by this stuff...
Best thing about it, you can pick it up at the local Walmart!!

2. Burt's Bees. I was introduced to this stuff when I was in high school and have a SERIOUS addiction to it. I always seem to be loosing the chapsticks though so I own at least ten floating around in my purses, backpacks, etc. Another plus is that they are ALL natural sooo for those people who like the no chemical, no preservative approach this is the way to go! Not only are the chapsticks awesome, but the hand and foot cremes and the curticle cream. Havn't tried one bad item from Burt's Bees. Sooo check it out!!!

3. Dark nail polishes. This is obviously a given, but this is coming from a girl who used to only paint her nails in shades of pink and red. Yes these are classic, but during the winter (complete with that pasty skin) there always needs to be a little spruce up of color. My favorites are Essie, OPI, and Ice from Walmart. They all ofter the best arrangment of dark colors for the winter time. My favorites right now are the plums, forest green, and navy...they look great with anything!

Enjoy the last few weeks of winter!! :)
