FAYETTEVILLE!!

On Thursday morning, bright and early in the morning at 7:30 the track team left for the Razorback Invitational in Fayetteville, AR. Christie and I sat together on the bus....a 6 hour bus ride=it was not fun. I was ready to get off the bus the moment that we got to our hotel. The hotel was toooo nice for us to be staying in, it was a suite with a full kitchen. They spoil us! On Thursday night we had a team meal at Logan's Roadhouse with delicious filet mignon, baked potatoes, and carmel apples! YUM! YUM!

Friday was the most boring day of my LIFE. We spent 10 hours in the hotel before heading over for long jump at 7:00 pm. I got a collegiate PR in the long jump with a jump of 17'00'' which is not where I want to be but it's an improvement. Triple jump was on Saturday, and I didn't do very well at all. I scratched all three of my jumps...but I am hoping that it is because that was my first time TJing this year. Hope so.....

I was so ready to get home on Saturday night, but we didn't get in until 2 :-( I was so tired and ready to be in my bed!! But all in all it was a very successful weekend and I am hoping will be a jump off point for the rest of the season. It is only January after all!

On the way to Logan's Roadhouse on Friday night! We had filet mignon....and it was DELICIOUS
