Cotton Bowl 2010!

We are on our way to Dallas, TX for the 2010 Cotton Bowl! Jonathan gave Ellen, Jamie and I free tickets which was great seeing as they were 100 dollar seats. The game is being played in the new and improved Dallas Cowboys stadium...it truly is a sight to see!

Christie, Lexi, Ellen, Jamie and I standing infront of the new stadium!

Our seats when we got there were not so good..so far away from the field we could barely see the players! Yet their were so many people there, over 77,000 people and the noise was ridiculous. We were angry not for us but for the players families who had traveled so far to see their sons play and they could not even see them!

The view from our seats...very beautiful!

The Eli Young band sang the National Anthem, they are a relatively young Country band that sings some of my favorite songs "Oklahoma Girl" and "Small Town Kid." We were watching the game from our seats for the first period, then Christie got a call from her uncle who happened to be working security at the Cotton Bowl that day. He said that he was able to get us celebrity wristbands so we could sit in a box right on the field!! We were soooo excited and went through tunnels, got to see all the boxes and the Eli Young Band before settling in our seats!
Look at these seats:

Our new seats....right on the field!
