It's hard to believe that we have already been here 3 days...well...more like 2 1/2. I have spent the last two days feeling pretty worthless seeing as we arrived here in Fayetteville on Thursday and all I have been doing is shopping, eating, and watching other people compete.
Which isn't all that bad really, but I'm itching to compete tomorrow. Nooo more like very very excited. We woke up this morning pretty early because we had to go do a neuromuscular warmup with Coach K at 8am. Which would have been perfectly fine except for the fact that I had to do a 10 minute run afterwards. Not. in. shape. AT ALL. A ten minute run turned into a fifteen minute run because I had no idea where I was running. Had I not been so out of shape it wouldn't have been bad at all, actually a nice way to start the morning.
So many events this afternoon compared to yesterday:200, 400, 800, mile, and long jump were all today. So it was pretty exciting seeing as there was always someone to watch. So my lazy self sat in the bleachers the entire day...and heres the pictures to prove it =)
Ben pole vaulting for the pentathlon
Mary Ashton and Neil who both weren't competing today like me!
Three of us :-)
Marci doing her thing in the long jump
Aria long jumping...her form cracks me up in this picture!
Sofie in her 800m run
Kristin in the open 400...I give her props because she has the flu and STILL ran a 55!

Allison in the mile run
So, even if the only thing that I have gotten accomplished today is eating Zaxby's chicken (which I got for free, long story) and took lots of pictures and cheered on my teammates I still had fun while doing it.
AND it makes me that much more excited for tomorrow's competition. Wish me well, triple jump @ 2pm!!!
Youre gonna do great today! :)
