Life Lately

I have been really aweful about updating my blog recently. Reason: International Journalism has officially taken over my life. With about 3 hours of work per night the extra time that I do have I spend doing other things. Good class, just lots of work.
I'm a little rusty on my political science knowledge (it's been two years since my last class) so I feel like I'm struggling at times to keep up.

My last nights at home were spent with my family celebrating the New Year, and of course family bowling night. I felt a little pressure seeing as we bowled at the same time as the big League bowlers (think 60 year old men, lots of beer, and betting) No worries though I posted a stellar score of 47. For all you non bowlers out there, a 5 year old child could more than likely do better than that. Let's just say I'm not too skilled in that area.

It's weird to have one class and practice during the day, and nothing else. The lack of people in Oxford is also a really weird feeling. The perks? No lines at Walmart, enough food at Walmart, no "traffic" going to school.

We went out to the Library last night just in the attempt to be social. It was a nice surprise to find out there was no cover charge. Saw lots of people and reconnected with one of my best friends from freshman year Lauren.

Hope everyone had a nice restful weekend, busy full week ahead! Happy Sunday :-)
