I must be completely honest with you, DIY projects scare me to death. It may simply be the feeling of good results resting completely in my hands or the fear that (heaven forbid) it does not turn out perfectly.
Either way, when I look over some of the design blogs I follow, I find myself reeling with jealousy. I want to be the creative one who has posts saying "look what I did with my creative hands"...it must be nice to be so creative.
One of these days I will pick up a hammer, supplies, and a measuring tape and DO IT MYSELF. In the meantime I am simply gawking at this headboard:
Beautiful isn't it? It will definitely find a place someday in a future apartment/studio/house and I will love looking at it every moment that I walk in the room. Dana, the fabulous woman who runs the blog House Tweaking does creative, budget-friendly projects such as this one and manages to keep her house clean with two wild boys running around. She fondly refers to this project as "the love bed." Amazing, if you ask me.
