The Beginning of the End

This weekend was unusually busy for me, and I feel like this Sunday is the first time that I have actually gotten a chance to sit down for more than an hour. So many fun things happened this weekend! It was homecoming here so there were lots of festivities and people going on in Oxford.
Friday night we went to Prime for Erica's 20th birthday celebration. Her family...oh my lord I want them to be part of my family. Never a dull moment with Erica, her mom, and Aunt Rose in the room.
BIRTHDAY GIRL!
The night was full of laughter, delicious food, amazing strawberry birthday cake, and TONS of presents. Happy birthday to my sweet Erica, it was a pleasure to get to spend it with you :-)
Saturday was freezing. And when I say freezing I don't mean the Southern term of freezing (which is different from my Indiana standards of cold) but seriously cold. This was my last football game at Ole Miss and the feelings were bittersweet to say the least. We spent an hour in the grove before heading to the game, which we only stayed until halftime.

I love my Rebel football don't get me wrong, but with me just getting over my cold and feeling like my butt was falling off I just couldn't bring myself to stay.
SO COLD...can't you tell??
We settled for football on the t.v. in our apartment and delicious warm apple cider...much better than the alternative. A usual night on the square followed with lots of dancing and a little delicious shot called a buttery nipple? Yummy, regardless of the ridiculous name.
Happy Sunday and Daylight Savings and enjoy that extra hour! I will be spending it in my bed
:-)
