Remember Me Happily

You know, I really don't have the best memory. It makes my mother sad because she thinks that means she didn't have a great impact on us when we were little. But I tell her that's what my little brother is for. Bless his heart, he remembers details like they happened yesterday.
Chatting with my roommate Ellen tonight, I realize how important remembering really is. Thinking back on old memories brings warmth into my heart, that's how important my memories are to me. They take us back to times when we were happy, sad, joyful, and angry. To remember is one of the greatest gifts.
It is my wish that people who have known me in the past and future will remember me happily. I think that we should all strive for that, because thats the best that we can do, don't you think?
