Hump Day

Tired. So very very tired. If I can get through this week, it will be a miracle. School and track are weighing heavily on me right now, and my whole body aches. Weights yesterday were extremely difficult...I squatted 78 kilos (172 pounds) which is a little better than last year, but i definitely struggled through it. Another hard day tomorrow, whew! My school work is limited right now, but it's a lot of deadlines that are a distance off. I'm trying to get prepared now so that I won't have to cram when the time comes. I'm fighting off that senioritis and laziness as hard as I can but sometimes its really really hard to just stay motivated. Trying my hardest!!

Even though it's been one of the toughest weeks of the school year, I'm thankful though for many many things in my life right now! Here's a few to share:

1. My wonderful parents are visiting for the weekend and its going to be good to see them. It has been since August since we have seen each other so it will definitely be great to hang out with them, watch a great football game, and show them the entire grove experience. If you can believe it...they have never been to a football game since I have been at OleMiss! Seeing as it is on the list of top sporting events you have to go see before you die, I'd say that it is a must.

2. The rain finally came yesterday and I enjoyed every second of it. It has rained twice since I've been back at school if you can believe it, so anything besides sunshine and heat are greatly appreciated! (not that I don't appreciate good weather don't get me wrong.)

3. This man is coming to our town this weekend and we are more than ecstatic (he may be on the opposing team, but the fact that we find him extremely attractive makes it hard to hate him.) Plus it's an SEC game which always makes things interesting. Auburn is now #1 in the country so a plain old SEC game just became a sold out, crazy halloween weekend game. So excited can't you tell!?

4. My fine finally got paid today when Ellen and I took a little trip to the courthouse. Such a relief but my wallet is burning, literally. Bye bye money.

5. This cool guy is coming to town tomorrow and staying for the weekend. He's bringing along his girlfriend Mackenzie, and together their are going to be a kick, I cannot wait to finally meet the girl that I have heard so much about. Fun comes around when he comes to town :)

Happy hump day, the weekend is in sight and I cannot wait for it!
