The weekend was everything that I hoped for it to be: lots of relaxation, mexican food, and shopping with the girls. We ventured to Michigan City on Sunday to the Lighthouse Place Outlets to scavenge for sales and deals. I made out like a bandit to say the least, maybe a little too much.... a bright patterned maxi dress from Ann Taylor, Banana Republic wedges, and Claire's headbands were a few of the things I picked up along the way.
Of course we needed fuel at the end of the day to recharge ourselves after the "strenuous" day of shopping, so we took a chance on a mexican restaurant on the way back home.
I cannot express in words how good the food was and how fun the mariachi band was to listen to. After eating wayyy too many chips and salsa, lots of enchiladas and burritos, and a chicken taco to top it off, I came away a very full and happy girl!
