We just got back last night from SEC's...after 6 nights in a hotel and two 7 hours bus trips, Oxford never looked so good to get back to! Even though it was a long week, it was so much fun to be able to work out, go out to eat, and watch the meet whenever I wanted to. When the time to compete finally rolled along...it was safe to say that I was more than ready. After waiting for days, with countless rain delays we finally had a small window of time before it began to rain to compete again. Better yet, my parents came the day before competition to watch me...which always makes it fun!
I PRed by a couple inches in the triple jump, which although I was disappointed I definitely cannot complain about a PR. Ending out the year with a 38 ft jump is never a bad thing.
