Finals week(s) are in full swing right now, and the papers and assignments are quickly piling up on my desk. One huge relief this weekend was the Double Decker festival. Sadly, the weather didn't cooperate this year so they had to move the festival from Saturday to Sunday because of the thunderstorms (which I guess were worse than I thought, lots of towns in the area were struck by tornadoes, not good.) Regardless, Christi and I ventured out to the Square to check it out, get some Abner's chicken strips, and visit all the boothes set up. Although I didn't buy anything becasue im trying to watch my spending, Christie bought the cutest wall hanging for our kitchen. It was in a wood picture frame, giving it a worn rustic look. I LOVE IT.
Our last home meet of the year is this weekend, oh how time flies by! I can't believe that the end of the year is approaching, I need like 4 more weeks and I will be satisfied! Christi's family is coming into town for the meet so it will be exciting to have everyone together. I just found out yeaterday that one of my good friends from high school Chris is coming to visit next Saturday...and Justin this Saturday (hopefully) so it will be a pretty busy next couple weeks. Yikes. Please give me the patience to not have a panic attack and get everything done that I need to. Please please please.
