A Relaxing {I Really Need This} Weekend

After a long long week it is finallllly Friday. A breath of fresh air to me. Even though there are no plans on the horizon just yet (besides studying for my JOUR test..fun fun) I'm still glad to get a break from the hustle and bustle that has been my life the past couple days. Whew!
Thursday was the longest day of the week for me, we had a speaker in one of my classes (whos pictures I will include in the end) and I had alot of work to do to prepare for the upcoming test. To say the least, it was stressful. And crazy. Soooo as a tradition, at least on most crazy days, I endulge myself in my favorite snack that I have been getting since my freshman year:

A Chai Tea Latte and a Banana Nut muffin from Java City--> heavenly!!!

It takes the craziness out of a bad day...sorta. But got through that day thank goodness and onto Friday which was exactly the opposite of that. Having one class on Fridays, its much more relaxed of a day: I only have class and workouts and then i'm done. BUT I had one thing that I was looking forward to this Friday more so than any other: I was gettting my first pole vaulting lesson from Karl. It was HARD. Harder than I thought at least. I had tried once before in high school but lost patience with it quickly. Here I am...picking it back up for the time being because I'm stronger now than I used to be so i'm hoping that will make a difference.
I'm going to be sore tomorrow though. For sure. Yikes...

For now I'm having a lazy weekend with movies, pasta, and packed full of re-cooperation. Sounds fun huh?

Some pictures from this week {{random}}:

The panel at 8am in the Overby Center
{too early in the morning, but really really interesting}

I know what your thinking. A strange thing to take a picture of. But it was Thursday night's meal (Yes...it was one of those days, you can tell a Walmart trip is soon coming! :)
I promise that it doesn't look as gross together. Salmon and eggs w/ ketchup= not too bad! But not together, no way jose.

Sofia and I after practice Thursday...stolen from Sofie's blog!!!

Last but not least a little comic I found on one of the blog sites I visit regularly Cupcakes and Cashmere, I thought it was so cute so I stole it to put in mine. Toooo funny....

Have a great weekend!! :-)
